We are thrilled to share that Sunflower Home Health Care Services proudly participated in the Puerto Rican Day Parade in September, and we have some incredible news to celebrate! Our float won 1st place in the Corporate/Commercial category, a testament to the creativity and passion of our team. It was a joy to join our community in honoring Puerto Rican culture, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the overwhelming support we received. This achievement inspires us to continue our mission of providing exceptional care with the same enthusiasm and dedication we brought to the parade.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

• October 1-7: National Primary Care Week – Celebrating the vital role of primary care in promoting overall health, this week highlights the importance of preventive care and home health services in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

• October 10: World Mental Health Day – Mental health is a crucial part of overall wellness. This day raises awareness about mental health issues and encourages care for both the mind and body, something we emphasize in our holistic approach to home care.

• October 15: Global Handwashing Day – A reminder that cleanliness is key to preventing illness, especially for caregivers and clients. Hand hygiene plays a significant role in safeguarding health at home.

• October 17: National Healthcare Quality Week – This week celebrates the dedication of health care workers, including home care professionals, who strive to provide the highest quality care every day.

• October 29: World Stroke Day – Early intervention and rehabilitation are crucial for stroke survivors, and home health care can play a significant role in helping patients recover and regain independence.

Sunflower Home Health Care Services presents our 6th ANNUAL TURKEY DRIVE🌻

Please consider donating turkeys or any monetary gift to Sunflower Home Health Care Services. We will be having our 6th Annual Turkey Drive on Thursday, NOVEMBER 7th from 1pm-4pm in our Philly office location serving turkeys and sides for families in need of Thanksgiving dinner. 🌻SUNFLOWER CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE

We will be collecting Christmas gifts (unwrapped toys) for children of all ages. Our CHRISTMAS TOY BOX will be available for DROP OFF starting on Friday, November 1st. We are excited to be donating to children in true need of a little Christmas. 🎄
