Meet Our Founder

My name is Clarimil Christian. I am originally from the beautiful city of Philadelphia. God placed it in my heart to open a home health care agency to be able to serve everyone but especially my very own community, my “viejitos” in the North Philadelphia “barrio.”

My biggest inspirations are my children: my son Noah (in Heaven) and my daughter, Madison Sky. In 2011, I gave birth to Noah prematurely, and his life was a short 45 days long due to many life-threatening complications. I called him my “Sunflower.” With that treasured in my heart, my sister and I discussed names for this vision, a new home care service and that is how the name “Sunflower Home Health Care Services” came about. I love that I can honor my son in this way as well.

With clinical certified medical assistant credentials and home care office management experience, I decided to take my medical journey a little further and begin a home care agency.

What is home care?

Home care is a type of supportive care provided to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. It is designed to assist people who are elderly, recovering from surgery, dealing with chronic conditions, or in need of help with daily activities. Home care services may include assistance with personal care (such as bathing, dressing, and grooming), meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.

Does Sunflower HHCS require their employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19?

Yes, as required by the state of PA.

What are your office hours?

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

What is the pay rate for Home Health Aides?

We do not have a set pay rate.

If I join your team as a Home Health Aide, can I bring my client with me?

Do you offer benefits?

We offer supplemental health insurance.

Is it required to have a car to work for your company?

No. It is not a requirement if you have reliable transportation to and from your client's home.
